Good names for spaceships

Was Fireball XL5, the one with galleon spaceship, the conjuction of the planets and the X craft?
Was this not the X-Bomber of Star Fleet fame (the one that (I think)transformed into a giant robot called Dai-X)
Some favourite ship names of myown:
SDF-1 - Robotech
Narcissus - Escape Pod from Alien
Excalibur - From B5 Crusade
Slave 1
And finally....
The Yamato... the 2nd most named ship in the history of Sci-Fi. Originally sunk in WWII, the writers of Star trek thought it would be funny to have the first Galaxy class starship to be destroyed named after the Flagship of the Japanese Fleet. The Yamato also appears in at least 4 Japanese mangas before finally appearing in the almighty Captain Harlock and the Millenium Queen - the miracle being that in these 5 mangas the Yamato looks remarkably similar.

Again, confusion if you named a spaceship Andromeda I'd think. I have a computer game called Creature Shock or so. There's a spaceship in it called Daedalus, very cool. Also Icharus is the name of a spaceship in Escape From Jupiter. I think Icharus is used quite often for spaceships. Can't be good for the moral, what with him crashing and all when getting too close to the sun.
