H2G2 a dying Community?

There does appear to be a continuing stream of new researchers, but I wonder why they've chosen to join & how many of them will stick with it.
Some of them have dived in with opinionated postings, yet put nothing in their personal space. I know that's not obligatory, but it does seem counter to the character of the site.
Would it be useful to have a mechanism for asking newish researchers for feedback?

Good suggstion, though i really don't think it would do any good to ask new researches for feedback on an organization they know next to nothing about.

Helping to welcome them might be good especially as an *un~official* ~I do a few welcomes a week. It helps,is friendlier to have at least two people stop by that are not Aces.
