h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm 33 work in National Park information where I find things out for people. I ended up here by accident whilst looking for information and have never been able to leave. It must be because you are all such loveable guys and gals. I live in SW England and am married with two large children. I collect music of all sorts and the various implements to listen to the music. Am a bit of a landscape oils painter, but never sell anything - just give it away. Play musical instruments too. Sometimes I need to fill in small gaps in my working day so I entertain myself with you bunch.

I get a lot from hooting all the usual stuff about exchange of ideas and relieving boredom. More importantly a good deal of friendship (thank you one and all) and the confidence to speak in RL about subjects I have conversed about here.

To add to my earlier post, I presently have a daughter in Toronto, one in Thailand, and one living permanently in Taiwan. Apparently I gave them some kind of fixation about places that begin with the letter *T*.

In any case, if any of them are lurking I am very, very proud of them all.

I am a Medical Veterinarian student. Who don´t keep relationships with women to long. Very curious about Life, The Universe and Everything else.

I like h2g2. It has many intersting things to learn, think about and comment.

I'm a Finn/Swede living in Stockholm, just a few years away from becoming the answer to life, the universe and everything, work in finance/administration at the head office for Scandinavia's biggest chain of hotels, no kids

My main reason for sticking with h2g2 for almost 4 years now is the friends I've made (most of which I've never met in RL!) and the interesting conversations

Meets are certainly for everyone - went along to one last year and had a fantastic time, even though my fiance said that everyone you meet on the net is a pervert or an axe murder. It was great finding out who was what and putting faces to names.
