The worst dream experience I've ever had was a few years ago and also sort of involved a mix of dream and reality.

I had a dream that I was held prisoner. I was tied up and I was being tortured by someone digging knives into the sides of my legs. The pain eventually woke me up and I found that I had scratched the sides of my legs so much that both were bleeding. So I'm now awake, thanking God and anyone else out there that it was only a dream and almost chuckling at how weird it was that I had made my legs bleed. I went to the bathroom to clean myself. I walked into the bathroom, fumbled around a bit, turned on the light and nearly lost my life. The sink and the mirror were covered in blood, lots of it, all over the shop.

I started screaming like crazy, waking the entire house. One room mate came out and tried to calm me down but also got very frightened when he saw both me and the bathroom covered in blood. Eventually, other room mate also appeared, I managed to calm down slightly and the explanation unfolded. Second flat mate had been out, got drunk, came home, had a nose bleed, was too drunk to realise the mess he had made and so went off to bed leaving the bathroom covered in blood. Still quite strange how I had cut myself in my sleep though. Very scary night.

Scratching in the sleep is a common thing with people who have eczema. They end up having to bind their minds in bandages to stop injuring themselves.

Very scary. Finding that much blood sloshing around would end up with me passing out anyway, but to have a dream like that......

The dream/reality thing seems to happen to me either when I'm stressed/worried about something or when I'm hyped up and excited.

Vicki Virago : At least I haven't yet disturbed anyone else with the wondering round that seems to go with it…..I imagine explaining what had happened could result in a lot of 'mickey taking' for a long time after. ' I was only looking for somewhere to sleep that wasn't in the way of the stage crew….' smiley - laugh

Nah, Im in Bristol...
Ashton Court is a big posh estate and house that when the last surviving descendant died she donated it to the city of Bristol.

It is known for Bristol Balloon Fiesta, Bristol Community Festival and a variety of other festivals and fairs etc.

A girlfriend once told me that dreams of flying were a symptom of sexual frustration.

Actually she was too embarrassed to say it outright and wrote on a piece of paper! (We ere only 18 - weren't we sweet!)

She didn't provide the required remedy either!
