I think it's time to release some new ones... Not that goo isn't cutting the buck or anything...
Anyone got any design schemes or any ideas on how we can make our layout better?

Hows about something not unlike Goo, except the background colour slowly pulsates between dark blue, deep purple and dark green...?

We've been promised a new skin since Christmas and have been told it's so good that all you goo users will abandon goo. But there's still no sign of it.

I fancy some red myself. In fact, this may seem slightly diabolical (in the literal sense) but I think a red and black colour scheme would be 'mighty fine'.

Strider, it would take about two hundred bytes of javascript to implement; less than the size of a single roll-over...

I'd been working on a modification of the Goo scheme that had sort of a glowy blue/green color scheme, with a black background. Never got it finished, though.

The above post may be a bit misleading; wasn't doing anything official, just seeing if I could come up with something for my own personal amusement.

Now that would be excellent if we could have skins where we chose our own colours! Mind you I guess it would make smilies and blobs etc really difficult

Not really... There are two "families" of smileys/blobs, one anti-aliased to black, one anti-aliased to white. They'd just need to add one anti-aliased to a 50% grey, and automatically deliver the one closest in brightness to your chosen background colour. Conceptually, it's pretty trivial.
Key: Complain about this post
