When I was in Ireland there was a signing in a bookstore. An Irish edition Playboy magazine had been published, and some of the models did a signing there. I went and bought the mag, and got it signed

I have one, and I didn't buy it per se. A friend gave it to me . I read it from time to time, not for the pictures, but for the stories. There's some very good erotic writers out there

Not magazines anymore, although I have been known to 'borrow' them off brothers in the past when we all lived with our mum, and they weren't looking. I've also sent out boyfriends to buy them from shops for me. Blues Shark has been spared that honour, cos now I buy erotic fiction instead.

I read it cos it gives me a cheap thrill and ideas.

I'm surprised porn mags have lasted the advent of the Internet, which - some people tend to think - is a more anonymous way of consuming porn, and offers far 'more' than British publication allow. Ahem, if you know what I mean.

A friend of mine is quite amazing when it comes to buying porn. He tends to think nothing of walking into a busy newsagents and buying 5 or 6 of them at the same time. He does this once every couple of months or so. Oddly, he has never had a girlfriend.

Heh..I remember I totally messed with a cashier's head one night because I came to the counter to buy porn, AND rent Caligula and a porno movie. I guess girl's don't tend to present themselves in public as being A. that lascivious, or B. that desperate to get off.

Mainly for the pictures, but I did read the stories and the problems pages always gave me a laugh.

Haven't bought any for ages now though, partly because the stuff on the World-Wide-W**k is better, but mostly because I have recently discovered one of the advantages of having a girlfriend
