Those guys are still going can you believe it?! A mate of mine worked at a theatre which was playing host to their "madcap" stage show, apparently their both a couple of foul mouthed drunks who get ***ted before the go on stage.Idiots.

I'm told by It's all too much that he is a character from the much maligned soap opera-Emmerdale. I've no idea who he is either but my street cred is permamnently tarnished by my knowledge of madge and Harold singles and Eastenders long players. Can't win 'em all...

Val Doonican? I don't know, some of his stuff was K.A. His version of Erotica by Madonna is definitive!

Here's my pennys worth:
To revive:
1.Red Dwarf (It was just so cool!!!).
2.Blossom (whatever happened to Mayim Bialik and her oh so cute nose? Last I heard she had just graduated from UCLA and was begining her studies towards a Ph.D. in neuroscience).
To trash:
1.Saved By the Bell (can TV get any worse?).
2.Last of the Summer Wine (This series should never have been made in the first place).
3.Neighbours (Well past its best and time to axe).

Red Dwarf was only good up to series 7 then it went all s***e.
Blossom on the other hand was s***e from day one!
Saved by the Bell has now transmogrified into Saved By The Bell:The New Class which is strictly speaking a new series.
Sorry to p*** on your bonfire dude but if you're going to come to the table, you gotta bring a plate.

Soaps are a difficult one I think as they are by definintion long-lived really.
I guess things like Prisoner Cell Block H should have been strangled at birth but you'd get lynched if you tried to shut down Coronation Street.
I recently had to forego by lifetime ambition of never watching Coronation Street when I started getting serious with my other half. I simply had no choice Principles die hard but they die indeed when it is a sacrifice worth making...

I look at it like this...all soaps run their course and die long and shameful deaths, wait and watch. One day Corrie will be closed down and I for one will be partying in the streets...until they replace it with another f***ing soap opera or reality tv show...such is life.

or wait and *try not to* watch...
I'll join you in that party. They seem to have really plumbed the depths now as they have Roy Hudd on the cast list.
Need I say more?

Oh yes. Be afraid, be very afraid.
If I *ever* see Gyles Brandreth on it then I will have to personally go up to Manchester and take *serious* action...

Yeah man Brandreth what a ****!
Still, I'd rather have Brandreth on it than that little t**d who used to be It Ain't 'Alf Hot Mum! (which surely falls into the category of this damn fine thread.)

Well you attack from the south and I'll attack from the north so that we've got Manchester surrounded.
