It's now about 80F, with a light breeze, but it's been getting to 90F and doldrums in the afternoons. It's hot enough you can feel it when the halogen torchiere turns on across the room. I have some new fuchsias in the deep darks of my garden with some dead nettles, and despite much coddling and misting, they are all giving up the ghost. Wasps have found the butterfly-egg spots on my passionvine, and are now happily laying their own eggs.
It actually rained in LA on the 25th and 26th July, quite unusual for the thunderclouds to not go into the desert that early in the year.

My rose bush has come out with brand new buds, and i cant wait for them to grow into beautiful roses.
Even my ivy is still climbimg along the fence, which is in need of new sticks, cos its getting to high.
Oh well back to everyone else

It has been cold again today 9.5C. The painters are still here (during the day, I mean!) and seem to need every door and window open. I spent the day shut in our office with a little blow-heater going full blast!!
