well it started off dry but has turned to rain now.lots of cloud in the sky where is the summer??????

Hot inside cool outside, spent day wandering around London, glad I wore my shorts, it can get really hot in the tube.

The stuffy humidity SpaceCadette and I have reported is blessedly gone! It's about 76 degrees F, and there's a nice breeze for flying medium-sized kites, and maybe some 2m rokkaku at the beach where the wind is typically stronger. Orange-stripey butterflies are skittering over the fence into my garden and are happily laying eggs on my passionflower vines. I planted nasturtiums as a catch crop, but they are only getting the cabbage moths. Both are being loudly chittered at by my hummingbirds. Oh well.
Fire season did start about 4 days ago, with a 19,000 acre one in the desert 150 miles from of here, near the city of Temecula. (How many Waleses or Belgiums is that?) Thunderstorms from the clamminess started it, and then kept it nicely suppressed. There are a couple of much smaller fires going, but they're not where they'd cause as much damage.

The weather here is dry and humid, theres hardly a breeze in the air.
The windows are wide open, and it hasnt made any improvement at all to get a breeze in the flat.
Earlier it was absolutely throwing it down with rain.

It has been raining all day. My front garden is a mud patch. Very cold - only 8C when I came in to work at 1330 this afternoon.

Its been a funny day here today.
First it was raining, then it stops, next we had the sun trying to get out of the clouds.
Then after we had fine rain, and after we had the sun.

It's been a scorcher today, i even passed out at the shops, aswell as the bus coming home.
I was suppose to be getting an outfit for next Saturday, for my cousin Alans 40th.
But i couldn't get one

Central Pennsylvania has been wet and dreary this summer and tonight, July 31, is no exception. It started raining a bit ago, not too hard, but rain is rain. It all dampens my spirits.

Suddenly overcast and much, much cooler. Record breaking number of forest fires in the provinces interior, especially in the South central area. So hopefully there may be rain and no lightning, which would make it worse.
