It started of with completely clear skies and bright sunshine but a few clouds have rolled across the sky but it's still mmostly clear skies. The top temperature now is 2°C but if feels warmer than it has been for a few days but there is a bit of a cold breeze. The wind speeds are 9 NNW.

Snow on the ground outside... which has frozen to a death trap scating rink over night... Hardly any really but its slow going just walking down the street
Freezing cold with it, despite quite a sunny day... But depends if your in the shade or not outside, and with even the very slight breeze that just makes it feel even colder

Crazy snow here (Shrewsbury, 09:30am). It's the snow equivilent of pissing it down - huge chuncks of snow rather that little flakes. Admittedly, I can still see the houses across the cricket pitch so it's not a blizzard, but for Shrewsbury, this is massive. We've almost go more than the last bout of snow, and it's only been going an hour.
