Not quite as much as they've plummeted here - Hong Kong - sharpest December drop in 71 years, down from 23 to 11 overnight on Saturday. Instant winter

Well, it's been rather hot and dry of late, but all of a sudden it's just cold and wet. Though of course, not wet enough to lift the water restrictions, just wet enough to tease. In Sydney, this is.

Well, about 2 floors above me, http://www.atm.ox.ac.uk/main/weather/
It's sunny, with a temperature of 5.2°C. Current surface pressure is 1028 hPa, which is quite high (we have a high passing overhead.) The wind is at 2.1 m/s bearing just E of ENE. There is currently no precipitation.
Cloud cover is about 1 octa, the clouds are fluffy, low cumulus with a hint of the darkness of cumulonimbus developing. I can't see any cirrus.
It's quite a nice sharp winter afternoon. However, with the low December sun, driving can be a little tricky as the sun gets in ones eyes easily.

Now it is clear, dark and frosty near Manchester.
If the full moon wasn't there (and it wasn't so cold) it'd make a good night to be out watching the sky.
