Whether she does or doesn't really isn't the issue here and I take exception to your speculation about my child. That was uncalled for and almost certainly untrue.

It's the fact that adults (even younger ones like Emily or yourself FABT) feel that it is perfectly OK to use mild profanities in a conversation with a child that potentally other children can read.

Yesterday I left a message for a 12 year old, U190806, calling herself That1HotBlonde and being mistaken for an adult after jumping into a private conversation.

Perhaps this isn't the site it once was.

A 'coelacanth' is a prehistoric fish, fossils date back millions of years. They don't come much older than that. Too bad she unsubscribed, they coulda had oldest and youngest.

As this thread was about the youngest as well as the oldest researchers I think it was a odds on chance that you would find yourself in conversation with a child.No one is suggesting that you don't contribute in any way to this thread just would you bear in mind that there may be children 'listening'.I'm a secondary school teacher and I do know what comes out of the mouth of babes but that is no excuse for an adult to use bad language to a child.Please note I DID not go to the moderator but am relying on your good sense in this matter.
