Yes, much better. Some of the four even made sense, in parts ... I could go for this; anything which involves refraining from vacuuming in favour of drinking has to be worthwhile.

*recovering from emotional posting in another thread*
So - what sort of initiation ceremony is there for this?

Um - does the rug burn get the dust bunnies out of my hair, then?

Why would you want to get the dust bunnies out of your hair? If they remain it is a visible sign that you are one of the enlightened ones, waiting for the return of the Prophet who will remove them and banish them from hence for ever, yea for all eternity.

Well, it's just that, if it's all the same to you, I'd really prefer an INvisible sign that I'm one of the enlightened ones. Or the sort of visible sign that involves having a drink in one hand and no vacuum cleaner in the other.
Besides - I don't want to ruin my chances of this job on Tuesday by having dust bunnies in my hair. Particularly not *somebody else's*.

I suppose that the main thing is that you believe in the value of the dust bunnies as an indicator that you await the Prophet - maybe some sort of spiritual dust bunny that isn't visible to the unenlightened might be of use in your case. Failing that, a hat might be useful.

Well, the dust bunnies worked! I have a new job in a large(ish) organisation, so I can play my part in the search for nighthoover there (he wasn't in our village local last night, and I did stay there quite late just in case). The humming noise of the aircon unit in the interview room was reminiscent of a distant vacuum cleaner - that's probably what inspired me, but the dust bunnies must have helped.
Just going to spend some time in quiet contemplation now. Any tips as to what exactly I should be contemplating?
*happy sigh*

It's hard to say what we should contemplate - the Prophet left no clear instructions. In fact, it may be that this is what we are to contemplate... And the dust, of course. I'm contemplating dust right now.

He is with you always in spirit if you will but believe.
What is an air-conditioner after all but a hooverer of the air. It sucks hot-moist-bad air out and blows good-cool-dry air in.
Stay cool!
And contemplate your blessings.
For the angel of the prophet has cooled you.

For them what may have missed a link
from there:
This priestess has her own website.
And there is a player at the bottom
of the page currently presenting her
"Dances and Variations, Movt 3",
an airily familiar interlude of
flutes and harps that seems to
go on... forever.
In a fresh and dust-free way.
Very bright and airy.
