They appear to be, the 'U' number is different from the origional prophet nighthoover, as is the 'u' number of the other four or five or however many it is other faulse prophets Of course, we haven't yet decided what the prophet would do should htey loose their log in details

It shouldn't be for the people here to *decide* what the original nighthoover would do if they were to lose their login details and yet try to return (despite wanting to cancel before)! Surely it is up to that nighthoover to decide.

All anyone here who is not that nighthoover can do is guess - a guess possibly based on evidence and possibly not. It would indeed be very difficult for anyone to determine whether a new account was the original nighthoover returning. The staff might be able to tell from computer logs but not if a new computer and location are being used.

In theory it would be possible for someone who was not the original nighthoover to guess their original login and steal the account. That would be even easier for the staff who can see those details. But presumably they would get into trouble if caught and I can't see it as something they are likely to want to do anyway.

tis indeed a concern and a worry and a small tin of baked beans with the words 'horror autotoxicus' written on the side in greek, or perhaps roman lettering, and thrown in the back of a skip on a random side road, which houses a small amount of brick rubble and a 2CV

While the staff are probably not tempted to 'steal' the true son of BoB's account, how tempting would it be to try to CONTACT the nighthoover?

I'd have to lend them my Insaine ramblings filter 'TM' to enable them to have a greate rchance of surviving the entire backlog and its myriad twists, turns and cans of baked beans, plus all the pertunias, and pieces of bobbly pavement, you know, thyey can be dangerous things, wave it about in a public place, and you could have someones eye out would be good if they did ever come back I feel hungry, but I have had two pieces of toast today, so I shouldn't be i think its the baked beans that started it off, well, started 'this' off, not obviously, started this:: off, I mean, we know who did that, and if it wasn't for them, well, I would hate to think of the consequences, although, obviously, thinking of the consequences would be a fifth as bad as actually recieving the wrath of the consequences themself, whatever they might, be, the consequences that is obviously, I mean, it always confusses me, when the phone rings, its like what, where, who why what where how, and then its a big huge all of a flurry as dashing feet and legs trample the carpet down and rampage through the house, screaming 'hold the gate, don't release the dogs, oh no, stop wait!', and then, as a anticlimax to an otherwise hetic and potentially curtain-rasing event of some kind of proportional event timed with the most recent and prescion made watch, occurs, and that itself is often less excieting than one mighten have at first indicated, at least to ones self that it might be, miht be, that is, something other than what it inevitably turns out to be at the end, well, not necessarily the end, of the day, but the thought is there, wouldn't you say,/? I mean, in some respects, and I have often, or at least, to be more accurate, have, on several ocasions, considered, and contemplated the interrelatedness of such things with other things, and well, it makes you think doesn't it?

Something along the lines of Zaphod in the total perspective vortex and finding that it was one in a virtual world created specially for him so he was indeed the centre of attention.
