Where can I find some nice friendly girls?

I agree with you Bouncy - laughter is a way of releaving tension so depending on the circumstances it can be a good thing (of course if they laughing because otherwise they would be crying - hide your face in shame *lmao*)
Also the teasing can be a good thing depending on what sort of relationship you are developing with this person. As long as you both releaise it is playful and don't take it personally of course.

D-you know, WIRO, from what you're describing, she's *waiting* for you to ask her. She's sending out all the receptive signals, the only thing that's missing is you plucking up the courage to ask her.
What do the girls here think? Am I right?

Give them time mate - it is a ladies perogitive to be fashionbly late.

Wiro Posted Feb 25, 2004
i said that i was waiting, and that i was doing something to keep me occupied while i waited.
and i know it is there porogative.
even though it was me that was late today i did phone her before she had left her house though to tell her i was going to be a little late. I wasn't actully that late, only 10 mins. do you belive that i was stuck in a queues of over 5miles (no exageration) for a busy set of traffic lights in town

Yes I can - I work for the AA and that is not the worst I have heard (or dealt with) while on the phones at work.
I wasn't having a go at you Rule 1 and I am sorry if you seem a bit aggrieved at the possible tone in the above message - I was just throwing the conversation to the top of the list and hopefully trying to get a lady, woman or someone of a temporary or permanent *rotflmao* female persuasion to come in here and throw in there view. That is what this thread is for I believe.
No worries with you being late - from what you are saying she is cool with it, don't worry* so much.
*To quote a song "worry, but realise that worrying is about as useful as a choclate fireguard"

Bouncy I agree with you and in this day and age maybe things should be more equal between men and woman - but change is always hard coming as the reason behind tradition is that this is what is done so that is how it is done. Afterall a million dead ancestors can't all be wrong can they *Lol*

I should've been born a Viking. I would've been a good Viking. I have the right height and hair for it and everything.
To fight the horde, singing and crying: Valhalla, I am coming!
Oh well, another dream to go down like a lead balloon...

So - I swear I was born either 50 years too early or 50 years too late - still working out which *lol*

The Dirk Gently books - think it's the second one.. offers an alternate take on Thor.. very funny
wiro - you're right, timing is important. I wouldn't know if she's waiting for you to ask, but she's happy to spend time just with you, which is cool
DG has managed to get somebody to cover his work, so we're going out tomorrow night after all. Now... I had pretty much decided that I was going to break things off, probably tomorrow night (then run off to marry Icky and Reddy (to me, not to each other (though they may find an unexpected attraction between them)), I digress). However, in his emails he's comes across as a bit daft, which obviously appeals to me.

Oh, and one for the ladies (re. my ing over Milky housemate) - Buffy tVS.. you know when Spike's in a black t-shirt, and he's got these lovely big muscly biceps that looks as they they could hold you and fight the world off at the same... that's what Milky's like, but arms aren't *quite* as big, but they are tanned....
(discovering I'm an 'arm' lady!)

Ooooooh spike ..though I'm definately an eyes n butt girl.
Is this gonna be date guys last chance then?
WIRO..It does sound like this girl could well be interested.. but hows about not worrying about telling her you like her outright (which can be a little daunting for both the teller and the told) and just enjoying her company for a while.. do things just the 2 of you as often as you can, have a laugh, compliment her, drop hints, flirt, and see what happens..the right moment will present itself to say something more or giver her a kiss and it won't feel forced n you wont worrry about it for days beforehand cos itll just happen.

thanks Serephina, already have a laugh with her, kinda flirt with her. I do compliment her every now and then.
i rember a comment from someone who sits in the bench behind us in the 1st of our 2 physics rooms. Something about how it appeared
in the 2nd physics classroom im not on the sdame bench, though i do now quite often move forward a bench, sometimes to the disgust of my physics teacher. other times he dosn't care cos we arn't even pretending to work anyway
and i wonder why i have a little trouble understanding some of the physics concepts.</>
that 1st footnote was more of a post in its self ....</>
