21 just seemed a good age to stop at ..and i have quite a babyface anyway

well 21 was the 1st legal age ... and is still in some countries for somethings.

I think it still should be..for pretty much everything!

I'm always looking at these conversations and I just think: you should all be comedians, you're all crazy. But I like it. time flies away, but luckyly I can go 30 hours per month in the internet for free. so what topic shall we discuss? is this correct english, I'm never quite sure?

I can only tell you: in Germany you are allowed to smoke with 16, to drink beer with 16, harder stuff with 18, and you can make your driving license with 17, but only really get it with 18.

The age of consent should be higher than 16 i feel..children aren't normally responsible enough to have children..end of. Drinking, voting etc may be better at 21 .

judging from those i know of my age i would have to agree with you that age of consent should be higher ... however the legal age makes absolutly no difference if no one gets educated about it properly

voting age ... at 16 if i earn enough i must pay tax ... however i am not allowed to vote and thus have a say in what happens to teh money


personally id rather not have the risk of tax than have the vote.

consent=when you can marry?
If the parents agree, you can marry with 16, normally with 18.
with 18 you are also out of your youth-criminal rights (there are some protection rights), you are fully under law, I mean you can be fully liable to prosecution (I hope I've got this right).

consent, as in sexual consent ... the age at which he are deemed to be able to decide for yourselve if you are ready.

your english is alot better than mine. and it is my native language.

I think legally you are allowed to have sex with 16, but no one cares about that. but in germany we have a new law since last year, gay couples are now allowed to marry. I think it's good that the state doesn't care what the church thinks any more.

Its about time gay couples wee allowed to marry.. there shouldn't be double standards in the law , least of all based on sexuality!

what is the age of consent in the uk for lesbian couples ... i have never heard of one .. all i have ever seen/heard is the age for to men ...
