Cheeky monkey is "Flesh of the Gods" written by Terrwence Mackenna? If so it is a right riviting read and a fresh perspective on human evolution ( always thought it was called "food of the gods"

The Citadel by AJ Cronin
but I don't think I'm going to finish it - I'm half way through and I'm very bored with the central character. In fact the entire book is his life and his life seems pretty predictable. I need to go to the second hand bookshop.

Anyone up for starting an h2g2 book club, we could have a page where we discuss what we're reading and review it? If it doesn't exist already has anyone got any idea's about how I go about starting one?
