However, I've heard nothing good about Tank Girl and seen Ice-T in other films and he was nothing short of atrocious so I stand by my point

I like Ice-T in L&O SVU.

Isn't Mos Def a rapper too? He was in some film recently...didn't make too bad a fist of it, IMHO.

I can't think of anyone I really hate - I'm not keen on Tom Cruise but he was pretty good in "Magnolia" and not bad in "War of the Worlds". My husband can't stand Micheal Keaton though.

Neve Campbell! The girlie from Scream. It's not so much her acting, but the horrendous little breathy intake she does before she speaks!

Exactly - that and the hands on hips pose she substitutes for emotion.

To be honest, I've never seen Scream, so don't know how her acting is in that but she annoyed me so much in "Party of Five" that I vowed never to watch anything that she was in!!

The Scream series was actually quite funny, much to my surprise.

I can't stand Tom Cruise! I just don't get it!!! He can't act... at all.

And Keanu Reeves(sp?) is soooo monotonous and I don't think he was very good in Dracula either. (I liked the Bill and Ted stuff though)

I was discussing this with hubbie last night and I was reminded that I can't stand Billy Crystal for the same reasons that he hates Micheal Keaton and Richard E.Grant - which is smugness. I watched the play of "When Harry Met Sally" and I think I liked Harry much more when someone else was playing him (it helped that Luke Perry was rather good too). Billy Crystal comes across as a know-it-all in whatever role he plays - even in "Monsters Inc" when they're only using his voice. I love "Monsters Inc" but I still want to strangle Mike the character he voices.

Tom Cruise is another guy who can act, but usually chooses not to. He just wants to do roles that make him look cool. And as someone who tends to hate "musicians" in movies, I think Ice T is surprisingly good in Law and Order.
