Oh right, I get it. Set up an election to elect someone to a post that no-one knows what it means, have a loosey goosey election process, and then when people start asking questions tell them they don't have to vote anyway.

Kea, I think I am safe when saying that croz will not do anything once he knows your email address, and I was only joking when I suggested he might tell his friends who voted what. Unlike me, you haven't met croz in RL, so no wonder you're insecure, and you haven't met me, either, so you can't tell how trustworthy I am, but then, it's just a fun election after all, nothing serious, nothing depends on the outcome of it, and you don't need to spend any sleepless nights about it. Just vote for [enter name of your candidate of choice] and be happy

Ok, I'll try my best to explain what the president does.
Nothing.
Well that's only partly true. They also set up a government of pointless positions (such as Minister for Pencil Shavings) a la The Thingites or the Church of Nighthoover. Also depending on who gets in, expect a big party followed by scandal and impeachment precedings.
