Catherine Jenkins singing a Christmas song I recorded on DVD a couple of days ago, as well as a truely fantastic singer, she is a damn fine looking woman!
....sexist comment?
Heck yes, but it's Christmas!

& @ this moment:
"East Wind" ~ Andy Irvine & Dave Spillane
pheloxi:
I remember "Time" when it was released, I had no idea anyone was still listening to it! I was a big ELO fan!!
Roymondo:
Blimy!! I didn't think you were getting carried away!?! Banco certainly does still exist! Still 'blindin' stuff' too.. He is playing in Sydney for New Year.. Was that; a 'little' tent, a 'little' festival, or both? Either way, if it was in the UK and in the last 12 years, I was probably there! Queen are a very good choice too.
Azanyx:
I think "Obsidian" is my favorite track, so difficult to choose though.. Don't you find? There is a similar thread to this:

STRANGELY STRANGE:
That Floyd concert was great to watch again (repeated) only wish I had been there! - Now I remember seeing them in a huge stadium back in 1988..

..and I suggest the "TWO THOUSAND AND 4" DVD for your list to santa if you like a bit of Banco,
Sorry for getting carried away, I will go back to sleep now before they come to carry me away!

Little tent, big festival (Glastonbury), and great noises! He had a remarkably good drummer IIRC.

I had a feeling it would be Glasto! Up in the greenfields, with the solar powered lighting rig.. I usually work Glasto..
?"IIRC"??
Also FYI, the drummer of whome you speak was almost certainly Ted Duggan who I think can be investigated (as Mr Noisy) at:

IIRC = if I remember correctly.
Right now we (2legs, flatmate & I) be listening to Elton John's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' album. Bugger, the stereotypes always get one in the end!

Genesis, live, 1975.

What splendifulous tastes in musics..
I also had the telly on until a few minutes ago.
I was just going to put "Breakfast In America" (Supertramp 1979) on instead. But I investigated your link & found PINK FLOYD there from last week, so I'm listening to:

(Dark Side Of The Moon - live)
...and jolly happy about it, thanks!
I have a DVD of Genesis @ Wembley 1987 - I was there, but can't remember where I stood!

I remember walking through Ramsgate station the day after that gig and seeing a surprising number of people in 'Invisible Touch' t-shirts!
And, oddly, a mate gave me the VHS for my birthday last month! (I believe it was a charity shop find...)
Sorry I didn't respond to most of your post yesterday - I was a tad sozzled. The Green Fields sound about right. I saw the Ozrics in there, under a different name, the same summer. I think it was the Ozrics, anyway.

I have to say "I think it was the Ozrics, anyway" is a very Glasto greenfields sorta thing to say...
'Well, whoever it was, they were really good' Usually follows!
Did anyone happen to attend Orbital's 'last ever' set @ Glasto?
I did!
