I haven't listened to JMJ for ages. Must get some again.
As I was just reading a bit of Hammer Of The Gods on the bus I'm listening to Led Zep, 'Houses Of The Holy', specifically The Rain Song.
Am I the only person that thinks (the wonderful) 'How Soon I Now' by The Smiths ripped off a sweepy guitar bit from his song?

Jean Michel Jarre - metamophoses
I play Jarre, because I was together with 2.5 million others in France in 14 July 1990 to see Jarre live!

Well, to join the spirit...
Jean Michel Jarre - Equinox Part 3.
Equinox has got to be my Jarre favorite. Never liked Metamophoses, though. Oh well.

I just played a bit of 'Equinoxe' (the famous bit) on the little controller keyboard. Sounds a bit odd over Zep though.

"metamophoses" is the most underestimated Jarre, but it is much better than "geometry of love", which less a Jarre sound and more a trance tracks made a popular dj.

I never even got to listen to GoL... I found Metamorphoses, how shall I put it, aimless, uninspired? Could not stand Sessions, either. But I guess I just prefer the older stuff up to Chronologie and maybe excluding Costeau.
Now listening to Equinox Part 6, with these weird synth sounds that simply keep going up the scales...

I'm now listening to me trying to sort out the chorus of a song 2legs and I wrote yesterday. These things never seem as good when you're sober!

The Automatic: 'Monster'
Fine, fine single, great summer album.
What's that coming over the hill...
Ah, 'tis glorious I tell thee! Rejoice! Be naked in a field! Smoke, er, stuff! Eat fungus! It's summer!

Hey!
I just bought "Not Accepted Anywhere" this afternoon!
I love the little shouty person - he's on nearly every track!

As I said earlier in this thread: it reminds me of Supergrass's early exuberence. Top stuff.

Sexual harassment in the workplace? How's about sexual harassment in the Hootooers' bedroom! Honestly, all that orgasmic groaning...
Snow Patrol: Final Straw. I've got the new one but had to sing along to 'Run' for a bit and ended up stuck!
