The new Muse album. It be growing. Growing, growing, growing. 'Super massive black-hole' is starting to take over my life. The rest of the album is sure to follow.

Still Muse. Unashamedly preposterous, belligerantly overblown, awash with excessive grandeur, drowning in a sea of unabashed pomposity. Love it.

Steve Reich – Electric Counterpoint
This was sampled on another tune I love, The Orb’s Little Fluffy Clouds

More Fluttr Effect for my part... Currently experiencing the sound and vision of 'I Want You Now', which is deliciously anthemic.

I'll click that link at some point, but for now:
Muse: Supermassive Blackhole.
This is so bleedin' good it almost makes me moist. But, as I'm a bloke, it doesn't. If I was a bird it would. Ooh blimey it's a sensual aural spectacle with hundreds and thousands sprinkled over it. And it's all that on a very big spangly stick with questionable attachments.

I thoroughly recommend Elvis Costello's 'Armed Forces' album, but admmit that the line 'I'm in a grip like vice' is a tad ropey. As is the blatant rip-off on the outro to this song (ripped off from Abbey Road, can't remember exactly which song right now).

A song by a colleague. Sounds like Chris Rea. Not my bag at all but, blimey, I'm staggered! It's excellent.
