They have a song called Dont Panic!
We'll just have to make them the offical soundtrack of h2g2 then
Tsk, microsoft come in for a lot of stick, but 99% of the time they're pretty darn good, I reckon.

Powderfinger indeed have a song called Don't Panic. It's on Vulture Street. Bearing in mind one of their songs was used in Mission impossible 2, they are not exactly strangers to the film soundtrack world. Which particular PTB need to be alerted to this fact, do you think?

...And what are the chances of it turning up on the soundtrack album of the H2G2 movie? (If it ever comes out...)

If you go to amazon, you may also find an album cryptically entitled "Parable for wooden ea". This is in fact the well-known Powderfinger debut album, "Parables for wooden ears".

Hi, Redbones, and welcome to this little corner of H2G2.
I can tell from your personal space that you're new here, so I'd like to gently point out that typing in capitals makes it look like you're shouting all the time. Think you can switch to some lower-case typing?
NP: Up & Down & Back Again...yep, it's Powderfinger!

Ooh! Ooh! Eagle-Eye!
As I come to the end of playing through 3 Powderfinger CDs for the second time today, I contemplate what else to listen to, and EEC sounds like a good plan. Now, what to choose as the third CD?
NP: Whatever makes you happy.
