I would have been hit by the sudden realisation that I can't tell the difference between my own man-duck and everyone elses, and therefore there is the possibility that I could've been snuggling up in the reeds next to a different man-duck every day of my life. One of my lady duck-friends was saying the other day what a glorious crop of tail feathers her man-duck had, but to me he just looks and quacks like any other duck!

I would be writing my name in permanent marker on my man-duck's bill, so everyone can tell that he's mine. Otherwise I might lose him, or other lady-ducks might pick him up by mistake. Or I'd snuggle up to somebody else's man-duck by mistake - it'd be like being in the school changing rooms and having the possibility of picking up somebody else's smelly old shorts by mistake - AGH!

I would be delighting in the fact that a duck doesn't need a career, and that the option of entering the legal profession is not open to poultry!

I'd start a gang of ducks in a public park and ambush humans with bread, I do think that they've already started doing this, so in the spirit of it all, GIMME ALL YOUR BREAD!!
Either that or just waddling around doin' my usual duck thing, I know I say this a lot but "QUACK!"
