Little activities that are strangely pleasurable
swl Posted Jun 8, 2006
actually, I get my wife to do it for me
In fact, my wife does a lot of pleasurable things for me
runs her fingers through my (sadly becoming historical) hair for 10 minutes at a time
picks my scabs, (yeah, a bit )
squeezes blackheads on my neck & back
cuts my hair, (I especially love the trimmers on my neck)
ooh er, does this make me seem a bit strange?

Seems perfectly normal to me
I'm sure some married person will come along soon to confirm that.

Depends if he finds it pleasurable or you do. Judging by the dragging by the ears incident I just witnessed, I suspect you might be the one deriving the pleasure

How about sorting all your series of books into the right order, though that only lasts about two days?

I'm blonde but mine are dark - now that's odd
Weeeeeelllll...
I do have them sorted by sorts of books (for Uni, and those split into history/theory and practical, and general reference books, and novels) and then again by languages. But barely any *cough cough* are in alphabetical order.

I hope not!
Ok - I'm anal. I measured the whole place exactly and then made a 3D CAD drawing of it Then measured all the furniture to stick it in.

That's a good one.
How about sharpening *all* your coloured pencils and then sorting them into a rainbow?

I must lead a very dull life in that I have no colouring pencils

I seem to recall that it was strangely pleasurable to poke and poke at the pencil sharpener until that little broken point fell out *you know the one that broke all the other pencil leads*
