Memorable TV moments?
The Groob Posted Nov 24, 2005
Politics:
Man in street to Jeffrey Archer: "Can I ask you a question Mr Archer?"
Jeffrey Archer: "Of course you can"
Man in street: "Why don't you f**k off?"
On Question Time:
David Dimbleby: "What are your thoughts on this, Robin Cock?" (Robin Cook's face was a picture)
Also in a compilation of TV moments when Jay Kay (from Jamiroquai) went up to a bunch of photographers, picked the littlest one, started abusing him and then the photographer head butted him and splatted his nose.
He deserved it.

I have to agree in principl, but sometimes in practise it's a good idea. Take the new series of BattleStar Galactica, Genious! and the new series of Doctor Who. In my opinion boath work because they stay true to the heart of the show.
Though for everyone that works, five don't!

The final moments of Blackadder goes Forth gets me every time,
The 'Death' of Daniel Jackson in SG-1
The Final episode of M*A*S*H when Hawkeye realises the chicken was a baby
The Death of Marcus in Babylon 5
I'm sure I'll think of more

Why is it that when some1 dies it's great tv? I remember seeing a thing about Doctor Who and when Peter Davidson's Doctor was dying (or whatever you call it) it was only layter that everyone realised what a great view the audience had down the top of his assistant.

And the Death of Janet Fraiser in SG-1, I was blubbing for hours afterwards.
The Funeral of the Pope was memorable as was the Funeral of Prince Rainer

The Iranian Embassy Siege was one of the first 'And Now over to the Newsroom for Breaking News' things I ever watched, when they said they were sending in the SAS I seriously thought they were sending in the Swedish Airline, I was only 11 at the time

I remember the first time I watched the X-Files, it was that episode with the guy who could crawl through small spaces and eat his victim's livers. It freaked the life out of me (I was only 11) and I have been an X-Files addict ever since.

Ooo. I remember that episode. Was a very freaky one. Do you remember the one with the cockroaches that got under peoples skin? that one *really* had me freaked.

If you're talking about death scenes than Angel deserves a mention. Just about all the regular cast members died during the series, with the last survivors making a last stand against hordes of demons in the final scene.

There was also an episode of the x-files where Scully sees a ghostly vision of her father just before someone phones her up to tell her he had died. My mum had a similar experience when her father died, but he appeared to her in a dream in a nice way and told her everything was going to be ok and that he was at peace, and she woke up to my aunt phoning to break the news that he had died. Scary!!!

Ooo. Very scary. I heard that Napoleon's mum had the same thing when he died.
Yeah, Angel had a few memorable bits too. When Cordelia had a two day pregnancy and they were demon babies or something. Quite icky.

That sounds like the birth of the twins in V. One was a human, the other was an alien. Scared the sh*t out of me as a child, even if the effects are terrible.
