Lady of the Lake {A friend to all, a lover of none} Posted Jan 13, 2002
I've got to say that the best book i've read was and still is The Changewinds written by Jack L Chalker. It's a trillogy which originally came out in 3 parts and was only available in the USA and Canada, but now it's in one book and available on the net. It's excellently written and once I got past the first few pages I couldn't put it down!

Diane Duane's Wizardry series (Book One: So You Want to be a Wizard) was very good. I think there are now five of them.
Susan Cooper's series, beginning with 'Over Sea, Under Stone' was also good. I saw one of them mentioned, but it should be noted that there are more.
Neat entry!
