42 pops up all the time. In a Biology lesson we were working out the magnification of an imaginary microscope the answer was - 4200. Then the very same lesson we wanted to work out the magnification of a real microscope - 4200.
42 also happens all the time. Isn't there shame there's no 42:42 on a clock imagine the things that would happen then!

Have you noticed how the number 1 also crops up alot. It appears in various forms in English, French AND German. I believe that you can also find it in Italian and Spanish. It also can be found in popular expression such as "one day", "once upon a time" and "one ounce". After having made the above discoveries you can imagine my suprise when I happend to glance down at my keyboard and there was "1" hiding just below the exlamation mark!
