A friend of mine lived through the huge earthquake in Alaska - 8.2 or better. She said the earth turned to liquid and that in the parking lot out side their military apartment (army brat) the cars were hoppinh back and forth acorss each other like mad fleas.

The latest news of that hurricane is not good. With so much of New Orleans under sea-level, it could be months before the city is back to normal. And tornado alerts all the way north as far as Pittsburgh...
