I have to work on our Independence Day. A federal holiday! For some reason the company believes that we can sell vacuums on a federal holiday. How stupid can you get?
A) it's a federal holiday, you're not supposed to work unless you are in a medical, safety, or security field.
B) no one will be home! They'll be at cookouts and watching firworks (which are now legal in Georgia again...another kid/redneck will most likely have a hand blown off)
C) even if someone is at home they will NOT want salepersons in their home taking up their holiday to talk about a ruddy vacuum!!

They still drive better than down here. Ohioans use turn signals most of the time. If someone from the south is using one it's usually cause they hit the thing by accident and didn't realize it.

It is the type of dog that thinks its human and insists on being treated as such, then has hour long barmy episodes during which it pounces on anything that moves. I'm currently nursing bruises large enough to be declared countries

That's why I rarely pet-sit anymore. The money is good, but the pets usually have no manners. This weekend, though, the afghan hound and cat were very well-mannered.
Course, I would expect no less from the fuzzy children of my "brother". Haha!
