I think it would be quite healthy if, in a fit of anger, confusion, fright, anxiety, grumpiness, frustration, etc, were allowed to scream or shout or yell properly. Not only does this release tension and stress but it is excellent excercise for the lungs.
Ready now? One....two....three....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I hate it when people tell me to cheer up, if I want to be miserable, tetchy, grumble, grouse, moan and whinge
WHY WON'T THEY LET ME DO IT IN PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Screams of rage, terror, anxiety, etc.
John Luc Posted Apr 28, 2005
EXACTLY!! That's why I started this thread, cause everytime I want to scream out I am told to shut up or to quiet down. This only leads to more frustration and eventually I'm on the floor seizuring from a panic attack. JOY!
So...with that in mind....I feel a nice shout coming on....
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!

I love my Blues no one else in the house does so I get told to turn it off or put something else on before I slit my wrists (Mum's favourite hint)
*Turns up the volume on JL Hooker and Bonnie Raitt*

My car just blew another headgasket. The headgasket was recalled on the bloody machine back in April 2000 and fixed for free then. For some reason they put a f*****g expiration on the recall and so now I doubt I can get the bloody thing fixed. I can't afford $1300 in repairs.
And I was supposed to leave for Ohio in the morning to start my new life.
Screaming isn't enough. I want someone to f*****g shoot me.

It's my daughter's baptism tomorrow so I've got family coming up, I've got to go shopping to get her a crucifix, make a fruit salad, Ice her cake, Watch Dr Who and go and see the new hitchhikers film
I'm going back to work for a rest
PS Do you know Scandrea, she's from Ohio

MWAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the idea of this thread! I often look at kids throwing temper tantrums and think how lucky they are they can do that. Adults should be able to chuck a tantrum too.
Screams of rage, terror, anxiety, etc.
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted May 1, 2005
I have an excuse I'm a chef and we are notoriously tempremental (Google Gordon Ramsey), but last time I threw a tantrum I was hauled before the boss

Scandrea? Er, no...don't think so.
Well, Mom's car died last night just as I took the exit ramp of the bypass and tried to cross the intersection. Fortunately I have AAA, but this means we have no means of transportation.
Tears trickled down my eyes this morning as I watched the two truck drive away, my beloved gold Taurus on the back. I love that car. His name is Bernie and he's the only "man" in my life. We've been together since August 1998, and hopefully we'll be together when he hits 200000 miles. He's up to 141000 so far.
I want my baby back!!!
And yes, I agree, we adults have much more to gripe about, we should be able to have the bloody tantrums! What lesbian comic was it that did a show where she pretended to throw an adult tantrum?
"My computer's broken! WAAAA!!!"
"Here's another computer."
"I DON'T WANT THAT ONE! WAAAAA!!"

Reefgirl, you're screaming because you 'had' to watch Dr Who and the 'Hitchhiker' film? I've been so busy with Uni coursework and the General Election that I haven't had TIME to see the film! The Doctor has been just about all that's saved my last lingering shreds of sanity!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Screams of rage, terror, anxiety, etc.
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted May 3, 2005
I was screaming because there weren't enough hours in the day to do everything I had to go to the late Hitchhikers showing

Not impressed at all.
Oh and if I start a new conversation abouthow to MAKE OTHERS VERY GRUMPY but make yourself less so , does that count as a PUDDING like remark?

Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted May 5, 2005
Absolutly not, it must be a Scandanavian thing A Swedish resercher was moaning about the same thing,I've been writing a little thing about Christian IV and his children about how they married into the european royal families
Screams of rage, terror, anxiety, etc.
Mutant Posted May 5, 2005
mmmm scandinavian thing or not I'm seriously considering hopping on a plane to England to see it (hey did it to see "the sweetest swing in baseball") (theater) Might even be fun if I can talk some of my friends into comming along.... the second danish invasion of England
Christian IV, yep heard quite a lot about him (and his children) we tend to be forcefeed info on the royal family from birth. Have you been writing it for H2G2? Because then I'll keep my eyes out for it.
Screams of rage, terror, anxiety, etc.
Reefgirl (Brunel Baby) Posted May 5, 2005
I was writing it for h2g2 but after a serious falling out with Peer Reveiw it's kind of on the back burner, were kinda force fed the Royal family too, there was a programme on TV about the Danish Royal family which was really interesting they interviewed the Queen and her son's and about 20 different descendants including Prince Michael of Kent
