By this weekend, I hope to be over this 
cold and able to detect the smell & taste of beer again. 
Mr. Nerd and I ought to bottle the current batch of home-brew soon, always a nice occasion for some sipping.
Incidentally, we did hold a RL beer tasting last weekend with some friends, should I post my notes?

Ooh, what are you brewing?
A friend from work gave me a few bottles each of his pale and a porter. The pale was okay, needs more hops and a little more malt, but the porter was delicious. He says he's brewing a Russian Imperial Stout for my birthday in August 
I reckon he might even have enough time to age it on oak chips

unfortunatly i have to cut down on my home drinking and have a wedding reception on saturday night so have to save my beer tokens for that

'Fraid not. Near Nottingham. Dressed in lots of leather and furs and trying to negotiate with lots of other people dressed as various creatures not to chop all the trees down. It's a hobby.
