Well, twas my Birthday yesterday. Pretty uneventful. Another year, another exscuse to feel miserable. Good presents though.
Apparently this one is a 'milestone'. I find it hard to muster any enthusiasm for this particular milestone, probably because it has 'sweet' in it's title.
Age doesn't make things easier... paying full fare... knowing you COULD leave school but knowing you won't because you fear being unable to have a job and buy a Mercedes... trainers to transform into squared toe shoes... what on earth am I talking about? Like fuh-ck that's going to happen to me. I shall stay young forever... Muaha! Hmm. On second thoughts, I don't want to end up being one of those sad middle aged people who desperately tries to keep up with the youth of today. Wearing clothes totally unsuitable:
Adult in denial: "Wow, don't I look youthful"
Child in hysterics: "Wow, what a pr*t"
So, I guess I'm glad that I'm older. I'm more mature, intelligent, and charismatic. Aaagh, who am I kidding, I feel exactly the same. IF I have to pay £4 extra to go to Camden Town I want radical changes dammit! I want the loss of appetite I was promised, the ability to live off 3 hours of sleep rather than my usual 10 (which still isn't enough, I need 13 to feel 'human')... I want German men falling at my feet!
What exactly can I do that I couldn't do before? Being sixteen is such a waste of my time...
Ah well, take care y'all
A bientot,
Natalie

Happy birthday!!
I agree, 16 isn't much different to 15. Train fares, grr.

It just seems much older than 16, like 15 seems a lot older than 14...

True. But for me, it wasn't the age that changed much, just the stuff that happened.
-yay, I get to kill myeslf from lung cancer, legally! Wahey!-

Wahoo. (sarcastic)
sorry, I'm rather anti smoking. In myself, anyway, I don't preach.

I quit. It was one of these depressed things. With the drinking and hurting.
I'm completely against it now. I can't stand the idea that these cigarette companies are making so much money by targeting teenage girls to smoke their cancers...

Well done, that's really brave of you. Or strong. Or something. You know what I mean?

Yeah, I get you
I only stopped because my best friend was really upset about it when she found out. Can't figure out how she found out so late...
*shrug*
Ah well.

Oh sweet Lord Krishna, I spend three weeks having to hear about teenage smoking, I log on, and I get it all again! I was so fed up with the subject that I decided on writing an essay about people smoking. Erm, like, setting light to themselves 'smoking'.
Stop! Stop it now! If you want to blow your lungs away, then fine!
Sorry, I'm a liiiiiiittle stressed. Ah, life. Gotta love it.
And a slightly less belated happy birthday to you, Natey. And what the heck, happy unbirthday Cinnamon
Sixteen.... absolutely nothing in it. The people who reeeeeealllly want to smoke/have sex/pay full fare have probably already done it anyway.
