Th United Nations didn't like their name being used that way so they made the BBC change it, apparently

"maybe my brothers mad theory that Donna is a time lord^H^H^H^H but with her essence trapped somewhere "
of course! Donna turns out to be The Rani - perfect!

eloisa Posted Jul 2, 2008
I thought that was my theory until I mentioned it, then it turned out lots of other people thought the same!
(Not the Rani though, please!!!!)

If Donna is a timelord in disguise, it would make more sense for her to be Romana, we've already had one evil timelord

Ferrettbadger. The Renegade Master Posted Jul 2, 2008
Oh come on guys.... there is zero chance that Donna is a time lord.....

Why? If that mad dalek was able to go back into the time wars and change history then what else might have been changed?
(I think it is unlikely though)

eloisa Posted Jul 2, 2008
Romana was in Espace apparently, according to a friend of mine.
Anybody have a clue what that means?
Dr Who.
IctoanAWEWawi Posted Jul 2, 2008
well we've already had one Time Lord who legged it from the time war and hid in another guise until the Doctor came along.

"Romana was in Espace apparently"
Probably just doing the school run.

Oh yeah! Silly me.
E-space?
Is that like L-space? Does she know the Librarian?

Slightly better chance than zero I think! Two heartbeats. Huge ring on her finger - a female fob watch?
If anyone is on facebook look at the thread I started on the Doctor Who Magazine group called Journey's End theories. Most of the posters go for the Donna is a timelady theory.
I'm going to review the theories on Sunday morning so any of you facebookers are more than welcome to try your hand at the prediction game. Please just no reset button this year!!!! I couldn't stand it!!

"E-space? "
anyway, in the books (and in the RTD version of things) Romana came back and ended up president of gallifrey at the time of the time war. So either she's dead or there is just a teeny-tiny chance she might have somehow or other survived the time war. Although this is unlikely as we know the time war wiped out the daleks and the time lords. Um.

Nah. I'm in the Donna-not-a-Time-Lord/Lady camp. Doesn't seem to fit. Though might explain why her mum thinks she could've done better things.
Yeah I'd wondetred if River Song could've been a daughter. The Doc and Rose's daughter?? There's definately always been something special between the Doc and Rose, especially the 10th Doc.

I was puttting forward a Donna - timelord/lady theory earlier in the year - but if it happens I don't really see much evidence anywhere through the season. (It's not like The Master where Saxon was a figure in the background waiting to be revealed).
That said, I still wonder about the Pompeii prophecy and the way the Soothsayer hesitated when he said "Daughter of ... London" as if unsure what to say. We've never Donna's dad although I think her mum mentioned him during Turn Left.
All in all though, I'm really struggling to see how they'll wrap the story and series up in 45 minutes ...

Pegasus - Neither bird nor plane Posted Jul 2, 2008
Yup, it's 65 minutes - yay! I really want to see how they're going to wrap everything up and make it fun, exciting, dramatic and wonderful. *hopes*
