Some good news, finally
Scandrea Started conversation Mar 1, 2005
Well, after the Week that Wouldn't Die, I've finally got some good news.
I went to the clinic on campus to get some sun damage screening done. They use a UV camera where they take a picture of your face. The dark spots on the resulting pictures are sun damaged cells.
Well...
My photos were lilly white!

I was worried about a lot of times I didn't when I was a little kid- I always had a tan, even in the winter! But that's good for peace of mind!

OK- 3 out of 4 schools have acknowledged that I and my graduate application exist. Still waiting on a decision from any of them...

Scan,
I never see sunlight that often - I am white. I wear long sleeved clothes when I do go outside.
I have brown sun spots because I tanned while I was a kid.
Do you have brown sun spots?
Also here's another question for you:
What do you think of Vitamin E pills? Do you think that they do their job helping the skin maintain itself?

The only brown spots I'm in danger of getting ATM is rust, it's raining again

I tan really easily, but I never burn. My sister is just the opposite.
Stay away from any sort of vitamin pills. If you need them, it means you're not eating right.

Plus, you have to watch fat-soluble vitamins. You can overdose on those, and it can play havoc with your system. The best way to get vitamins is from food, but if you can't eat right all the time, it is OK to take a supplement.
The spots can only be seen under a UV camera.
