Have you had a look at all the possible broadband deals, most of them aren't that much more than one of the "anytime" internet connections. The problem is that you do need to sign a twelve month contract. Which is why I haven't got one..

Yep! I know what you mean, for just £10 a month I could have the extra phone line, but by the time we pay our tel. bill and the TV & internet its quite pricey, as they are all from Telewest

MK2 is already cheesed off with the small amount of time I spend on line just now, imagine if I was Broadband!!

Yeah the problem with Telewest is that you can only get Telewest broadband, whilst this is one of the faster sorts of broadband, it is a bit pricey compared to the ADSL deals, because it uses cable instead of a BT phone line.

Mine you the line rental for an extra line with Telewest is a bit less than ADSL broadband anyway...

Why not try and get MK2 on here? then at least she'll stop complaining about the amount of time you spend

No Z, Ive got a dial up connection through Telewest it cost me £13 a month for 24/7 access, so thats all right
I really tried to get MK2 involved, but she just hates computers? mind you she was ok at first when I got the PC, in fact it her & her sons that bought me it for my 52nd birthday

Im going to get Broadband one day!!for sure, but like I say it will probably be after my case is settled

i think ull find aol is compatable to telewelewest because BT own the line telewest franchise the lines but BT own them

I may have to go that way if we move into an area that does not have cable
Its our intention to Move as soon as my money comes through, (having neighbour problems??)
So for the time being its Telewest dial up

Thats the reason y ur telewestwest area code is the same as a BT line because all landlines are owned by British Telecom

Thanks for the invite but feb a bad month for me....being a florist and all that. Leave the current day job on feb 14th then straight back to school for 4 weeks to learn how to be a teacher (English as a foreign language). After that two weeks work experience on local paper then have to find new day job But I'm up for the summer one!
