The H2G2 Editors Started conversation Apr 21, 2005
Today, we officially launch h2g2 Mobile [<./>mobile-info</.>]. Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so, and we know a lot of you can never get the hang of Thursdays, so we thought we'd launch it on the nearest Thursday as possible to the premiere of the film. Hurrah!
We'll be popping some corks at 4:02 this afternoon. Feel free to join us from wherever you are on this wonderful planet in raising a glass or cup to our founder and visionary Douglas Adams.
We're also pleased to note that we have passed the 7,000 mark in the Edited Guide (the total as of today is 7,022, which means the actual 7,000th entry entered the Edited Guide on Friday, 8 April 2005.
Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who's contributed to the Edited Guide and to h2g2 as a whole. And the celebrations aren't over yet - next Thursday is h2g2's 6th birthday!

Yesterday I finally got my new smartphone working (the main reason I got it is for accessing the guide, natch).
Today I just got a job.
and now its offically released the WAP version of the guide, 
I'll get me smartphone

I'm on H2G2 on here; on my PC; whilst nex to me on the desk is my smartphone, currently reading out the entry on scrambled eggs I think
