The H2G2 Editors Started conversation Feb 1, 2002
A new GuideML Gadget called has been added to GuideML. This gives you a link that pops up your Conversation details in a separate window, not unlike Who's Online. We are considering adding a button to every page to pop this window up, but for now it is only available in gadget form.
For information on how to use this new gadget, please check out the documentation at <./>GuideML-POPUPCONVERSATIONS</.>.

Now the h2IQ quiz could get *really* competitive!
I wonder can you get your computer to go *ping* whenever the question comes up?

That depends on whether the box updates every time one of your conversations is updated, or is just updated every X minutes
Which one is it Jim?

Jim Lynn Posted Feb 1, 2002
It updates once every two minutes.

Sorry Jim, I really ought to read the instructions before posting...
One weird question for you though, I put the link up on my space, it works, but when I click on "Mark all read" it seems to be giving me your conversations not mine.... what the heck did I do wrong?

, I just had that too. I hadn't clicked "Mark all read" But I'd just marked some of the read .
It's an excellent tool though!

Oh poo. It's probably a bug, and of course, I would never have noticed it.
As a workaround, just use the topmost >> button - it does much the same thing.

Now, now Jim. Just because the House Rules will tolerate URLs it doesn't mean they'll tolerate swearing.
