I managed to injure my left leg yesterday by walking into a chainlink fence in Knutsford.

But I then braved the cold and rain to visit Cantilever Park as its quagmire of a pitch hosted the most high profiles cup tie of the season, as Warrington town's first team battled bravely before losing 3-2 to the evrton under-18s in the semifinal of the LIverpool Senior Cup

Hmm fotball eh? the triumph the despair! i was unable to watch sundays fa cup tie..and spent the whole afternoon with what felt like ibs .My children were scathing ..well the ones that support arsenal and manu anyway

To be fair,as an everton fan I actually enjoyed the football, or would have done if I hadn't got piss-wet through, frozen my toes and seen our striker James vaughan hobble off with an injury. the chainink fence, however, hurt greatly.

Am I being a bit naive in asking exactly *how* you managed to walk into a chain-link fence?

Was there no attractive young lady on hand to dust you down and help you up, this time?

it was the same colour as the road behind it, so I didn't see the fence, which was made of very heavy chains with very pointy bits in between. VERY painful, I can tell you.
