No of course not. What kind of peasant do you think I am? Of course I own more than one glass so I can keep my drinkies separate. For heavens sake I've been into literally hundreds of pubs in my lifetime, and I have a souvenir glass from most of them
*sips Smirnoff Ice*
*smells big fat profit margin for someone *

Well they were left by a friend! Why just collect glasses if you can collect drinks!

How are you this Friday?

Not so good. I've been feeling under the weather for a couple of days. No real energy to do any work or post here much. My attempts at writing an ACE intro have hit a brick wall. All I have done is make a tentative step at writing a links page. Well not so much written, more boosted the one that Shea wrote, to which I will add my own stuff.
I made the major mistake of going into town this afternoon. Of course being only a month to Christmas, the crowds are building nicely I didn't buy anything as I couldn't face the stress of dealing with all those people. I've now made myself a nice cup of and have calmed down some what.
And how has your day been?

Sorry you have been feeling bad. I have had a bad cold too.
Would you like some with your ?
Dont panic too much about an ACE intro - the key, I gather is to be yourself and to try and say something that shows you have read the other persons space. You are welcome to look at mine if you like. I point them at the welcome page and the Posts list of links. Oh and giving a clue about the is considered good too. I tend to also give a few navigation tips too. What has surprised me is now few people answer. I tend to go back and check on them when I have time. My ACE messages are all titled Hello and Welcome and then the researchers name.
I have not even started to think about Christmas yet its still November for goodness sake!
I am interested to know what you have folded a crane into - they are so large and never looked that easy to fold to me - all that metal!

Oh My day?
Got up, went for a haircut (near where I used to work - I used to go on my lunch breaks). Yes I really did drive for an hour to get to the hairdresser
Then I called into see a friend and then to a little cheese shop which would make Gosho very jealous - so much choice even of goats and sheeps cheese
The my neigbour came round for a cup of . Then my mother called
Tonight I am meeting friends for a few drinks but I am driving so I will have to be well behaved ...

Yes I know its only November, but haven't you spotted the christmas crackers that have been taking over the supermarket shelves for the last 6 weeks or so?
Driving an hour to get your haircut? That is a bit strange. Unless of course you were going for the company and friendship of the hairdresser as the real motive.
I've seen your ACE intro several times, and I've copied that and several others. To be honest I'm not in the slightest bit surprised that most new researchers never come back and say anything. If you think that the number of registered researchers is now pushing 92,000 yet I doubt whether I see more than a couple of hundred names out there on a regular basis.

Well he is a good hairdresser!
I hate the way the Christmas stuff has been in the shops for so long - I am so not ready to think about it!
I guess you are right! I always worry that maybe my introduction was not good enough. It also surprises me the number of people who dont bother to activate their spaces even - we cant even welcome them
What do you have planned for this eveining?
Rollos
GreyDesk Posted Nov 24, 2001
Nothing planned for the evening as I don't really want to go out. I expect I'll probably be hanging around here for most of it.

I am not really in the mood to go out either But I should. Hope to catch up with you here later
Have fun

If you're going out shouldn't you be getting ready? I mean it takes time what with you being a girl and all that.

Guess who has just discovered the piece of paper with all his passwords and stuff written on it
The really bizarre bit is the "who's online" list is showing all three of me at the moment. I guess it doesn't get updated that often or something like that.

All of it please
And how was your evening? I've spent a productive time bothering Parrferris and Gosho. Plus I've discovered stupidgirl is back on site, which is nice. All this fun and games has pushed me into the top 10 again, but obviously way below your exalted levels
Key: Complain about this post
