Yup.
Closing date for the Scottish Executive one(s) is the end of Jan, so I'll be working on the application forms over the hols.
Spose I ought to partay hard over Hogmany this year to get into practice

The SE is looking for lots of people at my grade, so I'll bung in a form. May be disadvantaged by my overseas experince, perversely, as it's hard to get that across on a standard appraisal form

Hmmm....just had an email from the East Kilbride one, wanteing me to clarify that I'm a statistican (I'm not...) and what my current grade is.... not looking good, I fear

I would take that as a sign from - quite possibly a lucky escape from a near miss in East Kilbride
Seriously though - I applied for a job as a qualified vet nurse once (which I am) and recieved a reply saying there were no trainee nurse positions available at the moment blah blah.
I was bloody insulted as I have masses of experience and decided that if they are that sloppy then it probably is a sh!thole and I am well out of it.

yeah the interview's at a horrible 8.45 am, so I'll definitely have to stay the night before (and not have a hangover the next day)
