In 2007 the EU discovered it hadn't wasted it's full quota of money and called for each country to send a representative to a party in Berlin.
France sent Savarin; Bulgaria sent Tikvenik; Spain sent Tarta de Santiago.

The cakes mentioned in the OP are all sweet cakes so I'm thinking that the UK contribution would be similar.
