So long as it can keep up and you dont mind if it accidentally gets bitten/chopped/broken off then I'm sure the Captain wont mind... But I'd double check with him of course.

'Ere Terran...Welcome aboard, you can't park that there.
We're about to pick up a bit of speed due to the trades
on our way south to Tristan da Cunha and your little boat would slow us down or at least get bashed about a bit.
Why don't we haul it aboard if you're staying for a while?

Why don't we put your boat in one of the shipyard holds. There's still lots of room
They are next to the holds where we keep endangered species so make sure you do not enter the polar bear hold - to name one
