Just called in to say that I have a copious supply of plaid if anyone wants a kilt.

left hand *down*, navigator?
but wouldn't that make us turn left down the westcoast of africa?
of course we have canons aboard. we don't have any bishops though. maybe we should ask the next who enters to take on that assignment?

*looks at Helmsman ...checks left hand ...right hand ...thinks ...*
Helmsman! Belay that last order! Return the wheel to previous position.
*Thinks more*
Hwlmsman! Walk around the wheel to the other side of it, so you're facing the stern. Now take hold the wheel.
Now .........
Left hand down a bit!

Power assisted steering, obviously.
One interesting little snippet from my scout around HMS Victory, it took up to 8 men to handle the ship's wheel!

So did I!
As I didn't have 8 able seamen to turn the wheel, it worked wonders for the biceps!

*Amends another dreadful spelling mistake on the chart. As a consequence, the ship passes by Cape Fredastaire on itw way North*

I know it may seem harsh, but i'm the only one who can handle Domosthenes. Otherwize, he'd end up shutting the ship down. I'll have to take him to the hold were he can get all the spare parts he needs WITHOUT dissasembling the ship.

This is the lookout. We aren't there yet and I am freezing my a** off up here. Can you step on it? Scotland can't be that hard to find. Who is navigating down there anyway? I hope it isn't that KES who is doing it.

Bless you! Nasty sneeze you've got there!
*Looks at chart ...measures distances with fingers ...*
About ... a few hours to go yet ... There's a funny big round thing on the chart ...you can't see that can you?
*Blush*

Could we please stop at Tintagel and throw Pellinore out?
