I don't have a clue what calvados is. Do you drink it, eat it, or pet it? Sounds pretty foreign if you ask me.

It's made from fermented apples ...the fortification process is unique, though .... they don't distill it ...they freeze it and filter off the ice

I believe calvados originates from Normandy and Brittany. It is really rather delicious, it goes well on apple filled pancakes too with lashings of whipped cream.
