h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I have filed a claim against our previous landlord online , at the small claims court, because he hasn't given us our deposit back. Several letters have passed back and forth, in which he contradicted himself several times and even blatantly lied (I have proof of this). There should be a special place in hell for bad landlords.
What annoys me the most is the place was in a better state when we left it then we moved in
Financially with moving house it's left me right in the mire being short of nearly £500. I have never taken anyone to court before, but this was so blatant. He obviously hasn't re-let the house so hasn't got the deposit off the new tenants to pay us back. He took his family to Florida recently so thats where the money has gone.
Otherwise things are fine. The cats are recovering well and both are fine at the moment apart from baggins has a swollen paw because he had a fight with the next doors cat.
Nessie and I sorted out the spare room today so we can just about fit a visitor in.Her friend wants to visit.
I'm absolutely shattered but the end of term is in sight. I will probably be at work some of christmas because we have students who are staying over the holidays, but it will be fun
AND Jk is coming to visit on the 28th Dec for a couple of weeks, and I'll be on holiday some of the time so we'll get a chance to spend some time together.
Our new neighbours are mad but a nice mad and very friendly.I shall have some tales to tell in future I can forsee
to all have a good Sunday.

Good luck with small claims court Tabs. I think sometimes these gits do stuff like that because they expect you not to bother........go get him girl.
