FF18 - Week Sixteen (take 2)
GreyDesk Started conversation Apr 8, 2007
The original week 16 list was a bit crap. So I've decided to scrap that list and substitute it with this one
Portsmouth v Newcastle
Sheffield United v West Ham
Birmingham v Southampton
Leeds v Burnley
Rotherham v Carlisle
The closing time for all predictions will be kick off of the first match on Saturday.

I don't wish to press for a third attempt at Week Sixteen, but you did promise no more opportunities for me to take the piss out of Leeds.

True, but then Leeds have been on a bit of a run these last few weeks. Therefore I think that they are fair game for inclusion in the lists as a loss is no longer one's automatic choice.

Can I predict right now that the jammy s will probably win 2-1 thanks to a late goal that just about makes it over the line after at least two deflections? I mean, why should this week be any different?

Secretly Not Here Any More Posted Apr 8, 2007
Almost over the line? ALMOST?
Come on Ormy, that never got anywhere near the line!

Demon Drawer Posted Apr 12, 2007
Ormy didn't say which line. Could be the half way line for all we know.

Yes, of course I meant the line at the front of the goal area.
This week, I expect that a fierce 95th minute shot will hit the Burnley crossbar, rebound out on to the referee's head and stun him. When he comes to a few seconds later, he'll hear gleeful cheering from the Leeds faithful and assume that he ought to award a goal.
