It's time to go
Tabitca Posted Sep 8, 2001
Hi Nikki
I hope you didn't think I was interfering but I was worried you might be exploited whilst still in a vulnerable state.I read the Guardian myself but it doesn't mean I respect everything they do! Take care of yourself....lots of s.
remember Pandora's box....out of the dark emptiness in the box came forth a light....HOPE. I expect to see one of your plays one day or read one of your books...and I'll say I sort of knew that person...she was very brave.

Hear, Hear....
You should do as you see fit - if YOU think it could help others in similar situations, or facing a similar decision, and YOU are willing to share it (which you indicated you were, in an earlier posting) then maybe you should go ahead... Given your Journalistic leanings, maybe you could write the article and the "Journalist" edit it/add an interview on....? (just a thought)
If necessary (I doubt my postings would be interesting) you may quote anything I have said here.....
Good Luck whatever you decide...

Please excuse the intrusion.
Just stumbled on this thread and wanted to tell you that even those of us you don't know care deeply for the person you have shown yourself to be.
Glad you decided to stay.
It does get better, eventually.
It can get worse too, but which would you rather have - the highs AND the lows or just a lifetime of boring sameness?
Ria

Here, Hear!!!!
The Sameness makes things interesting... ... No what I mean is the Normality makes the Highs and Lows interesting - without Normality we'd have nothing to complain about.....

Or brag about! And nothing to fear, hate, love...
No wait, normal is ...
I mean, it's better to have loved a loss than have a fur bearing animal..
No wait...wait...
No never mind.
Carry on.
Please.
peace

Are you sure Nikki wants a food fight in her nice tidy thread?

I'm sure she doesn't.
I'm equally sure that she's too polite to complain about her visitors even when they are so lacking in couth.

*wonders about the appropriateness of such a late posting in the midst of a food-fight *
Nikki, I've been away from h2g2 for a long time, and missed the chance to find a wonderful person as it seems that you are. I would be most honoured if you and I could start to form a friendship.
You have been through a lot, and thankfully have made it through to the other end, I'm sure there are many who dont... As I read the posts, I felt such a pain inside that someone who seems to be a wonderful person felt the need to end their own life. The relief I felt was tremendous. I hope life is still good for you, and that possibly I can become a dear friend to you as so many others seem to have done.

Hi Nikki-D, how are you?
I was given this thread by TC, I'm having problems RL and reading your posts and the responses helped me a great deal.
I just wanted you to know that.
Annie, so glad you decided to stick around.
