Go get some groceries'
get some green pepper to go with it and your onions and garlic and some spring onions and some shrimp
get white pepper, black pepper, oregano
ok, mix your spices, put your garlic, veggies diced in butter with the spices, cook the shrimp
ok, now boil 2 cups of chicken broth or use seafood stock if you boiled lkyour shrimp in water, get afew tablespoons peanut butter and whisk it over a boil; it should be thickening, then toss the veggies and shrimp in
cook your basmati
serve it over kyour basmati
voila!
bon apetit!
(if you don't want to get groceries, just throw your other stuff into a "goulash"/stew)
hmmmm; I'm hungry now.

Spicy egg omlette is very tasty and quick
2 eggs(beaten)
a little milk (about 1 tablespoon)
finely chopped red pepper (Cut in halves before chopping up and carfully discard the seeds as they can be very bitter)
1 crushed clove of garlic or half a small onion finely chopped
a little butter(about a teaspoon)(gives the ommlette a good flavour)
finely chopped chilli (Chop in half and carfully discard the seeds as they can be mega hot)
mix all the ingreedients together and put them in a frying pan
Fry until the egg is as firm or soft as you prefere
mince beef can be added as long as you gently fry the beef untill its golden brown first
Mince beef gives a lovely flavour and makes this ommlette a compleate meal for one
serve up relax and enjoy

Brown the mince (about 1/4 per person), add a small onion, garlic and the tin of tomatoes allow to thicken slightly. Cook some Basmati rice (about 1/2 cup per person). Seed chillies (If you are a wimp) and place in thickened tomatoe sauce. Cut top off Capsicum (Red bell pepper) to form a flap, remove seeds from capsicum and place mixture of rice and sauce inside capsicum close lid and put in an oven preheated to 110 degrees celcius for 20 min or until soft. I don't know the conversion to fariegnht.

Recipies from across the galaxy.
Hitchhikers guide to the kitchen.
Just off the top of my head any more ideas, the oly problem that I can think of is that different people have different recipies for the same dish.
How many people put peas in Spag. Bog.? I don't but I know people who do.

This may stun you, but Spaghetti Bolognese doesn't really exist in Italy - except in some restaurants catering for the British or American tourist. I only found all this out because I used to go out with an Italian girl.
Apparently what we think of as Spag Bol is just Spaghetti alla Ragu - spaghetti with a meat and tomato-based sauce. It seems the term 'Spaghetti Bolognese' was invented in a restaurant somewhere in Europe or America (rather than in Bologna) to make Spaghetti alla Ragu sound more interesting.
Lots of other things were invented in Bologna though. Cannelloni, for a start.

mmm sounds tasty yeah sometimes peas are used in pasta ( not in my pasta though) I think peas are used in a kind of savoury ice \cream too. I love fish especially Salmon mmm yum Ive had fish with pasta sauce before it was tuna with a basic tomato pasta sauce with spiral pasta. I bought the pasta I'm not quite brave enough to make my own pasta yet but I'll do it one day
Zapha and 2 happy beeblebears xx

Good luck with pasta-making; I think it;s harder than it looks; I have a pasta making machine (somewhere)but the pasta was more fit for children to make necklaces with than to eat; perhaps the "old fashioned" by hand way is best, if extrememly time consuming.
Peas in ice cream? Good Grief! (I really hate peas .

If you were to prepare a ragout or goulasch, or...(as I might be persuaded to share...) a righteous Chili con Carne, there is ONE THING THAT YOU MUST DO:
Fry the bacon and reserve the drippings for the large onion you are about to chop and sautee.
Everything else will fall into place.

I now dedicate this page to recipies that we may share with one another. I'm really interested in the Chillie Con Carne that Nullspace has brought up, not vomited up

Making pasta isn't as difficult as it looks, but it is either one of those thnings that works* or doesn't work, and if it doesn't work, it just has to be thrown out a bit like a white sauce I guess Once you've made the pasta mix, remember to leave it in the fridge a couple hours before rolling it out and making the spagetti or tagetil or whatever shapes your making with it

Yeah its a kind of savoury ice cream. I heat up my chill with Tabasco sauce (Habinaro) I like Tasbasco on my boiled eggs too instead of salt.
