Little black dog is ill
Hati Started conversation Jan 10, 2009
My little dog is very ill and struggling for her life. She has kidney failure, though she's not even 5 yet. She's feeling very bad and I can only sit next to her and cry. Well, and inject her and set on the iv-drip.
What I read on the internet says mostly that kidney failure on dogs is usually discovered only when 60-70% of kidneys is destroyed and that's irreversible. In most cases the kidney failure is terminal, main difference is in time, whether it's 2 days or 2 years.
I feel so helpless.

Oh Hati, I'm so sorry. Poor little thing. And poor you. It's so hard watching a beloved pet suffer. They are part of our families. And I hate that helpless feeling, too. We always feel like we should be able to "fix" everything. But of course that isn't always possible.

Very sorry, Hati. Your heart must be breaking. And only 4.
It is good that your little black dog has such a caring and practical owner as you, and presumably excellent vet back-up, to try to alleviate her misery. If you are doing the injections and i/v stuff at home yourself, that means that your little one can at least be happy in her own surroundings, conscious of your love.
I am so sorry - nothing else I can say really, other than that here's a big Reiki hug if you will accept it. Don't forget Colin does distant Reiki too and I reckon you could ask him to help make her more comfortable (I will do the same if you permit it); he's always glad to keep up with past students.

.. yes, well .. I'm afraid Hati is a bit upset at the moment. I'm not sure when she'll be back here. Frida was very ill. I got a message that she died end of the afternoon.

Very sorry indeed, Hati. Pawprints left on the heart. Frida and her mother were gorgeous; thank you for sharing the photos.
